What I do
My creative approach:
My aim is to explore fresh artistic connections and to create a transforming cultural experience. This can involve presenting a well-known work in a new way; using new media to connect to new audiences; facilitating interdisciplinary or intercultural collaboration.
My approach to making projects happen:
I take my original idea and develop it in dialogue with potential partners. I work with the right artists and find the right presenting venue or media through which to bring a project to an audience. I work in partnership at all times to find the necessary support to make the project happen.
My experience includes:
Working with a visual artist, art historian and a technical expert in digital media to create a new form of presentation of 2 major works by Rachmaninoff and Boecklin for the Ravinia festival in Chicago, bringing the painting and the music to live for a large audience.
Expanding the audience for the Royal Academy in London through development of a music programme to accompany the Paris, Capital of the Arts exhibition.
See work in progress for current projects.
