Synopsis
The National Museums of Scotland organised a study visit of their Board of Trustees to Paris to meet Museums directors and the Ministry of Culture in order to learn more about French Museums and Galleries policy. The visit to the main museums of the capital helped the Board of Trustees to familiarise themselves with specific programmes undertaken to develop audiences and provided them with the possibility to explore other aspects of museum management including collections displays and marketing.
