As an independent arts consultant I have worked in China; Italy; Germany; Scandinavia; Russia; the USA as well as in France and in the UK.

I have also worked in political, diplomatic, press and administrative roles, all of which have given me a good understanding of the wider context of culture.

I have worked in many areas of the arts – classical and contemporary music; visual arts; digital media; architecture; photography and literature.

My range of experience and extensive international contacts let me make connections that enrich any project.

Skills

Arts managements; project management; cultural strategy and planning; client relations; building partnerships and collaborations; public diplomacy; promotion; media, communication and presentation.

An ability to work in many countries and contexts – I am genuinely multilingual, equally at home in English, French and Portuguese. My mothertongue is Russian and I am comfortable working in Italian, German and Spanish.

Background

I was born in Tehran to Russian-Armenia and Portuguese parents, both of whom are classical pianists and well known in the cultural milieu. I was raised in a creative environment which makes me perfectly at ease in company of artists.

I spent my early years in Iran, before moving to Portugal and later the USA. I studied at the Lycee Francais, Lisbon; University of Kansas (Political Science); Summer school programme lead by the University of California, Berkeley, in Berlin and Munich. I have since lived in Paris and London.
